The Story

In June 1994, I found myself at a crossroads. After six years of suffocating in the monotony of being confined within the four walls of a sign-making shop, breathing in a cocktail of fumes and chemicals, I knew there had to be a better way to make a living. With its blend of physicality and artistry, construction had always intrigued me, so I decided to take a leap of faith. I joined a framing crew as the lowest rung on the ladder—the guy tasked with lugging framing lumber around the job site.

It felt like stepping into a new world. Changing job sites every few weeks, working under open skies, and feeling the sun on my face—it was exhilarating. Determined to learn everything I could, I poured myself into the work. Within a year, I went from a wide-eyed rookie to managing two framing crews simultaneously.

Two years into framing, new doors began to open. Opportunities arose to travel abroad, building American custom homes in places like Germany and Japan. These experiences expanded my understanding of construction beyond just framing. I found myself drawn to millwork, cabinetry, and trim. Watching the precision and care of craftsmen working indoors—shielded from the elements—sparked a realization. No shoveling snow off lumber, no slogging through muddy sites, no scrambling to pack up tools before a storm hit, no sweating profusely in July’s sweltering heat, and no frozen fingertips on a cold, windy January day. They worked in comfort, regardless of the season. It was a revelation, and I knew where I wanted to focus my energy.

After two years overseas, I returned to the United States and took a job with a high-end architectural woodworking company in Florida. There, I immersed myself in the meticulous world of millwork installation—doors, cabinets, wall paneling, and trim. I fell in love with the craft, the challenge, and the constant learning it demanded. Every project was a puzzle, and each day brought a new lesson. I made it a habit to volunteer for tasks I’d never done before, knowing every new skill I acquired would only make me more valuable.

By March 2000, I felt ready to take the plunge and started my own business in Salt Lake City, focusing on architectural woodwork installation. Over the years, my path took me across the nation, working on a wide range of projects, including private residences, executive offices, retail spaces, government buildings, and religious edifices.

From December 2015 to December 2024, I had the incredible privilege of working almost exclusively on the homes of billionaires in San Francisco, Atherton, Beverly Hills, Manhattan, Kona, and Austin. These projects taught me one invaluable lesson: success is in the details. Careful planning, thinking ahead, and anticipating challenges can transform a project from chaos into seamless execution.

That lesson remains my guiding principle. Today, every project I take on is an opportunity to apply what I’ve learned, embrace new challenges, and craft something exceptional. Construction is no longer just a job—it’s a lifelong adventure.

The Approach

We take a unique approach to cabinets. Instead of having you visit a showroom, we bring the showroom to you, allowing you to make your selections in the comfort of your home.  Our offerings include two lines of European-made and one line of American-made cabinets to suit every taste.

Our process is as follows:

  • We meet to discuss your overall objectives.

  • You review samples and make initial selections.

  • We survey your space and take detailed measurements.

  • We create a rough draft of your kitchen, bath, or closet for your review.

  • Upon rough draft approval, we provide 3-D sketches for final approval.

  • Once we receive your deposit, your order will be processed.

  • Throughout the entire process, we'll gladly coordinate with your plumber, electrician, HVAC, tile company, or general contractor to ensure a seamless experience.

  • Upon cabinet delivery, we begin installation and don't stop until your project is complete.
